To support this growth market Straumann wants to strengthen its BeLux sales team with a dynamic and hands-on National Sales Manager to head the Belgian operation hereunder provide extensive support to its sales team.

THE POSITION

The National Business Manager will be member of the Benelux Management team with responsibility for the Straumann office in Belgium with full responsibility of the development of all sales activities in Belgium and Luxembourg. The work will be done in close cooperation with the commercial manager Benelux Sales and the Country Manager Benelux.

   

Key Responsibilities and Priorities:         

  • Full profit loss responsibility and operational leadership responsibility
  • Member of the Benelux Management Team reporting to the commercial manager Benelux with a dotted line to the Country Manager Benelux
  • Meet annual sales and gross margin objectives
  • Elaborate national sales strategy and ensure its execution
  • Develop and coach to ensure the competencies of the sales team: selling skills, product technical knowledge and territory management
  • Monitor the overall performance of all direct reports and provide coaching, counselling and advice
  • Assist in important sales activities and develop KPI to follow up sales
  • Monitor major market trends, political changes and shifts within areas related to market, competition, opinion leaders and consumer habits

Ideal Profile of the Successful Candidate

  • Relevant Bachelor or Master Degree
  • Minimum five years relevant working experience from related business
  • Proven sales track record preferably from within the Dental industry or another Dental background.
  • Motivational leadership style and an excellent communicator
  • Flexible attitude and able to interact at multiple hierarchical levels
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate complex issues in a professional and efficient manner orally and in writing
  • Result oriented with high focus to ensure full customer satisfaction
  • Strives in an international matrix organization
  • Prepared for regular travel within the region plus to Swiss HQ in Basel
  • Native Flemish with fluency in French and English
