Unique opportunity for talented International Key Account Manager for the Benelux!

Our client has trusted SAM with finding a dynamic and hands on International Account Manager to take responsibility for the sales and to lead the Belgian and the Netherlands retail market

 

Our clientis a fast growing company in the clothing business, designing, producing & selling clothes for the all family through big retail chains. In order to sustain its fast growth, our client has trusted SAM Headhunting with finding a dynamic International Key Account Manager to lead its operations in Belgium and the Netherlands.

 

The company has a successful track record in Europe and is operating across numerous countries and is continuously expanding its activities. The new International Key Account Manager will be responsible for the development of the Benelux market.


Candidates who will be taken into consideration for this challenging position must be used in negotiations with major retail chains and have a proven sales track record. Experience from the retail market is important and it would be an advantage with an affinity for textile and fabrics.

 

The International Key Account Manager also has the responsibility to the further development and increased sale of his own key account customers. He will be the key person in relation to strategic and operational efforts, including development of collections and concepts for his own market.

 

The Key Account Manager shall report back to headquarter about market reactions and demands. 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Establish new business contacts and turn them into repeat business
  • Develop the sales relations with the retail chains
  • Negotiate sales contracts with retail chains
  • Plan and organize all online and offline local marketing campaigns with the retail chains
  • Reports to the Sales Director at headquarters level, Home office in The Netherlands or Belgium

 

Requirements

 

  • Experience in sales to the retail market, experience in textiles would be a major advantage
  • Holds a business degree
  • Fluent in English, Dutch. French & German is a +
  • Negotiator
  • Result oriented, regular reporting, work in autonomy
  • Excellent analytical skills, conceptual thinking
